GovLab Session - Understanding and Demonstrating Eco-Social Impact

On June 18, at 11:00, we will host a GOVLab Online session, as part of the Governance and Literacy Research Line, this time dedicated to the theme "Understanding and Demonstrating Eco-Social Impact: Theoretical Approach and Applicability". 

In this edition, we have Helena Reis Luz and Vanessa Nunes, both researchers at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CEIS20) at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Coimbra (FPCEUC):

• Helena Reis Luz holds a PhD in Social Work (ISCTE/IUL) and a PhD in Economics (ISEG/UTL), and is an Assistant Professor at FPCEUC, where she coordinates the undergraduate degree in Social Work. Her research areas include Impact Assessment, Social Economy, Circular Economy, and Sustainability.
• Vanessa Nunes holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Coimbra and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and is an Assistant Professor at FPCEUC. She coordinates the FPCEUC's Observatory of Citizenship and Social Intervention, with research interests in sustainability-oriented Social Work, public policy, and socio-ecological risks.

The session promises a reflection on theoretical and applied approaches to understanding and demonstrating eco-social impact.
