Between the 6th and the 10th of March, was the annual meeting of the ICES (International Council for the Exploration of the Sea) working groups on Introduction and Transfer of Marine Organisms (WGITMO) and Ballast Water and Other Introduction Vectors ( WGBOSV). MARE researchers João Canning-Clode (MARE-Madeira) the current coordinator of WGITMO, as well as Paula Chainho (MARE-ULisboa), Cátia Bartilotti (MARE-Nova) and Jorge Lobo Arteaga (MARE-Nova) participated in this meeting. .
