MARE gest funding for 6 Interreg and 3 HORIZON projects

MARE secures funding for 6 projects out of the 27 approved in the European Interreg Atlantic Area 2021-2027 program, and for another 3 projects under the HORIZON program.

The overall budget exceeds 35 million euros, with around 2.5 million dedicated exclusively to MARE through Interreg and 1.5 million through HORIZON. The projects will have the coordination and/or participation of several MARE Regional Research Units, namely MARE-Madeira, MARE-PLeiria, MARE-UÉvora, MARE-FCUL and MARE-Coimbra,
