Doctoral Theme Proposals at MARE

Take your studies to the next level with MARE. There are 36 research proposals, aimed at developing a doctoral thesis, that you can do with us!
 
These proposals were launched by researchers from MARE's eight Regional Research Units, who will be the thesis supervisors in one of the
 following doctoral programs:

- Biology (University of Lisbon and University of Coimbra)
- Environmental Engineering (University of Coimbra)
- Marine Sciences (University of Lisbon)
- Biology and Ecologies of Global Change (University of Lisbon)
- Biomolecules (University of Cádiz in partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria)
- Veterinary Medicine and Health (University ofSantiago de Compostela in partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria)
- Direct Digital Manufacturing for the Polymer and Tooling Industries (Polytechnic Institute of Leiria)
- Environment and Sustainability (NOVA University Lisbon)

 

You can choose up to 3 thesis proposals, and submit your expression of interest by February 21, 2025. This must be accompanied by a Letter of Motivation, a Curriculum Vitae and certificates of your qualifications.

If you are chosen, you will also have the opportunity to apply for an FCT PhD scholarship in the next call.
