I am a marine ecologist and my research interest aims at understanding the global to local processes that control the performance and function of flora and fauna and how they interact in nearshore ecosystems, including their performance and bio-development in artificial structures. Most of my current research is focused on the implications of climate variability, especially the threats to kelp forest ecosystems (from abiotic and biotic drivers) and also perspectives for their conservation.
