Camarinhando nas dunas" - Guided tour as part of the Emc2 project

On September 27, at 3:30 p.m., the environmental awareness action “Walking in the dunes” will take place, which includes a guided tour of the dune area of Almograve Beach to observe the shrimp bushes, led by researcher Alexandra Abreu Lima. 

The activity is part of the Emc2 project 'Exploring the Coastal Camarinha Bush', which aims to raise awareness of this little-known species, especially among younger generations, and to raise awareness of the protection and recovery of dune ecosystems, as well as the native and endemic species associated with them.

The Emc2 project is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT, Portugal), through the strategic projects UIDB/04292/2020 and UIDP/04292/2020 awarded to MARE - Center for Marine and Environmental Sciences, and the project LA/P/0069/2020 awarded to the Associated Laboratory ARNET - Aquatic Research Network.
