Webinar “Aquaculture in real life and in comics”

On March 11, the webinar “Aquaculture in real life and in comics” will be held online. The event will feature MARE researcher Bruno Pinto, who will present his latest comic strip “The Road to Aquaculture”.​

This webinar will cover topics related to aquaculture, such as production regimes and species produced globally and nationally, as well as the creation of a comic book about aquaculture in Portugal. Currently, this activity accounts for more than half of the world's fish for human consumption.

The event will end with a talk about the process of creating the comic book “O caminho para a aquacultura”, which was aimed at a young audience. The main purpose of this book was to inform about national aquaculture, and also to contribute to the discussion on this topic in our country.
