Earth Day - O Oceano é a nossa Terra

From April 15-24, join MARE, the Oceano Azul Foundation and dozens of other Portuguese organizations to celebrate Earth Day with a whole week of activities dedicated to the ocean.

Join MARE researcher Kasia Sroczgnska on Graciosa Island for the interactive workshop "Once upon a time... the Ocean". This workshop is aimed at elementary school children and covers the various types of marine ecosystems, their resources and biodiversity, their importance and the main threats.

On the 22nd, "Dive into the future" with researchers Helena Veríssimo and Zara Teixeira at the Vasco da Gama University School, for a session on Sustainability and Ocean Literacy. Don't miss the opportunity to find out how you can contribute to a healthier marine ecosystem and a community that is more aware of and motivated by marine issues.
