The Camarinhas Project - ‘Ecological restoration in a pine forest’

On 26 October, another activity will take place as part of the Camarinhas Conservation Project in the Ovar Pine Forest.

The activity will begin with a presentation by Professor Paula Maia, a biologist and researcher at the University of Aveiro, on ‘Ecological restoration in pine forests’. This will be followed by a practical activity in a project area for the conservation of Camarinhas in the Ovar pine forest, where we will have the opportunity to learn about the main strategies being applied to control invasive plant species (mostly ‘Acacias’) and to put them into practice.
