MARE - the research center at the World Ocean Summit & Expo Hall 2023

From March 27th to 1st, MARE was at the World Ocean Summit & Expo Hall. After all, what does the only research institute present in the Expo Hall of this event? Does MARE have services? Yes, MARE also has services and much more.

It is very important for MARE to show its internationalization and its skills to boost the blue economy not only in Portugal but in other regions of the globe, explains the Director of MARE Pedro Raposo de Almeida present at the 10th edition of the World Ocean Summit & Expo Hall in Lisbon. That's why MARE researcher Zara Teixeira, with Science Manager Mélanie Costa, were in the exhibitor contacting people, clarifying and showing MARE services and all the areas in which MARE researchers work.

From monitoring and planning, in which MARE researchers will be able to carry out risk and environmental quality analyses, species identification or biotelemetry, to biotechnology and molecular analyses, or to ocean governance and literacy, where researchers will be able to colaborate in decision-making processes or in communication and training - there are many services available to meet business needs.
