Between 7th and 11th October the 8th edition of the River Ecosystem Fish Identification Course took place at the National Museum of Natural History and Science. With 17 students from different parts of the country and from different professional areas - from environmental consulting companies, technicians from the Portuguese Environment Agency to Researchers and Students.
This course organized by MARE and CE3C has already trained almost 150 people over the eight editions, always with a huge adhesion from the various groups of society (eg municipal technicians, police officers, consulting companies, researchers, university teachers, Masters and Doctoral Students), and already received trainees from Spain as well. With a strong practical component, the course involves a field trip and a guided visit to the Fluviário de Mora.
