Open Day SW Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park

An open day on the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park will be held on 8 July at the ICNF auditorium in Odemira.

This event is a collaboration between the University of Évora, CIEMAR and MARE, and will consist of various talks on the scientific work carried out in the Natural Park. Among the speakers are MARE researchers Maria Alexandra Lima, who will present the role of the Emc2 project in the scientific dissemination of prawns, and João Castro, who will talk about biology and conservation on the Alentejo coast of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.

On 13 July, there will also be a guided tour of the old Assenha water mill, owned by Amália Rodrigues.

Participation is free but subject to registration by 4 July.
