Tropical Summit 2024

The first edition of the Tropical Summit Conference will be held between 4 and 7 November. 

Aiming to become a benchmark event in achieving the 2030 Agenda, the Tropical Summit is designed to promote knowledge transfer, stimulate multidisciplinary collaboration and stakeholder involvement, and contribute to co-creation and innovative projects, capitalising on and densifying existing initiatives and collaboration platforms for the rapid implementation of tangible and robust solutions.

MARE will be present at the conference and will also be organising a special session on Tropical Oceans and Coastal Zones under the theme of Planetary Health, through researchers Bernardo Duarte and Vanessa Fonseca.
