Activity summary

I investigate how aquatic food webs and species interactions respond to changing environment. I use different approaches from traditional taxonomic methods to metabarcoding and stable isotope analysis and I work with variety of ecosystems (freshwater streams, ponds, estuaries, coastal areas and also deep sea). Currently I'm working on developing ecological indicator to assess "Good Environmental Status" (focused on descriptor 4-Food Webs) to be included in Marine Strategy Framework Directive.
