Activity summary

Research on marine ecology and on ornithology. Coordinator of long-term studies (16 years) on albatrosses on the Falkland Islands and on Cory’s shearwaters on the Selvagens (Madeira), as well as on sea turtles in Guinea-Bissau. More than 110 papers in international journals, together with various books on birds and on sea turtles. Teaching of ecology, behaviour and conservation biology (including first degrees, maters and PhD supervisions).
