Activity summary
Early career biologist, with expertise on behavioural ecology.
My main research focus is on the evaluation of how animals cope with environmental challenges (particularly human-induced, and within the context of intra- and inter-specific competition) and in assessing ways of promoting human-wildlife coexistence. Currently, I am investigating the ecology and population dynamics of the European eel (Anguilla anguilla) in Madeira Island, Portugal.
