Activity summary

My research explores the cognitive potential and behavioural flexibility of octopuses, while trying to understand how their unique brain architecture is potentiated, during natural and lab-simulated events, and cognitive paradigms. For this, we rely on two main approaches: gauging neural activity during numerical discrimination (individual cognition), and measurements of interspecific cooperative hunting behaviour, in the field (social cognition).
