Biologist, PhD in Environmental Sciences, coordinator of MARE.Nova and responsible for the “Environmental Risk” Line until the end of 2019. Develops a multi- and interdisciplinary activity, specialist in contamination and toxicology of estuarine and coastal environments. Guided and supervises MSc and PhD theses in biosedimentary ecology, molecular biomarkers and histopathological responses to situations of exposure to contaminants and environmental, ecological and human health, risk assessment.
