Carla Amarelo Santos

PhD in Environmental Engineering since May 29, 2014, from Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon. She did research in microalgae biorefineries to obtain biofuels (biodiesel and biogas) at LNEG, in Lisbon. She is specialized in microbial cultivation in bioreactors (fermenters and photobioreactors) under heterotrophic or photoautotrophic conditions. Professor of Polytechnic Education, in the area of Biotechnology, at IPS. She leads WP2 in the REDWINE project with H2020 funding.
