Activity summary

Since 2006 I have participated in I&D activities and other MARE projects in the areas of impact assessment and environmental monitoring of the aquatic ecosystems. Currently, my research focuses on the ecology of aquatic biological communities, in particular, benthic macroinvertebrates, with special emphasis on the ecological quality of low salinity areas and DNA barcoding.
