Activity summary

PhD research in the field of marine sciences. Research on the stock dynamics of the European eel (Anguilla anguilla) in Portugal and development of tools that can contribute to its management. Santo André lagoon will be used as case study to develop a demographic model that describes the stock dynamics. An evaluation of eel fishery in Santo André lagoon will be also performed using bioeconomic modelling.
