Activity summary

I am a PhD student at the U. of Évora and I am currently studying stalked barnacles and mussels as foundation species. My research has been focused on physical and biological processes that affect species diversity, distribution, and abundance in rocky shore habitats. I have participated in projects on conservation, fisheries, co-management, and experimental aquaculture of the stalked barnacle Pollicipes pollicipes.
